Events

Cultural Day: During the second term of the scholastic year, an event called the "Cultural Day" is organised in either the month of February or March. The event name comes from the shows presented by the students which are greatly related to their culture. The event takes place in the evening at around 6:00PM and the invitation is open to the parents of the participating students. The participating classes are from Jr.5 till Sr.4. In this event, the children present their talents to the audience. Various shows are presented each year such dances, skits, plays...etc. The 'Speech Choir' was rated as the best program on the Cultural Day 2011.

House System Investiture: During the beginning of the year, usually in the month of September or first week of October, a ceremony is held to announce the official start of the houses system after the students of the school starting Grade 1 to Grade 12 are divided in to 4 houses. A boy and girl captain is assigned for each house. These are as follows:

  1. The blue house, Sapphire
  2. The green house, Emerald
  3. The red house, Ruby
  4. The yellow house, Topaz

A girl and a boy are chosen to take the position of Head Boy and Head Girl. This is the highest position in school among students and is given each year to those who have exhibited outstanding performance in both academics and behaviour. They must also show great ability in social communication and have a strong personality. Along with this, two students from each class are then chosen to take the following responsibility:
